Cold Weather

I have had zero issues running a tune in the cold weather.

I live in the Chicagoland area, where temperatures, during the Winter months, routinely dip into the single digits (Fahrenheit) or even below zero at times.

I also have the lower temp, 170 thermostat installed as well, & yes, I still get heat through the vents.

Hope that's of some help to you. :noidea:

So much for the no trouble in stock format...My truck was towed to the dealer a week ago because it would not start. Turns out the factory remote start flooded it at -35 degrees C. They changed the oil and plugs and it started, they've spent the remainder of 4 days trying to fix a grinding noise while switching from 2wd to 4 high. fixed that now it "roars while in 2wd...they are throwing parts at it currently with no fix. Truck has 8800 km on it, a little disappointing. As for the cold start issue I'm told there's no block heater just an intake heater and Ford recognizes that's a problem here in the North...lol Your thoughts?

I run a Livernois 87 Perf Tune for the winter here in Quebec ( -25C) with no problem. In the summer depending what I am doing, I run 87 Towing or 93 Perf when I go drag racing. With 93 perf the truck is super fast. My best so far is 13.54 secs at 102.71MPH. It is a 2012 Scab 2WD, a 3.55 electronic axle and Roadmaster Active suspension to eliminate axle wrap. It ran 13.87 at 93 MPH stock.
