And in keeping with our promise to you that we would definitely be the first to conjure up a performance upgraded internal we are happy to announce that we have delivered upon that promise. We would like to announce that we have developed a full head AND main stud kit for new 2.3L EcoBoost engine! They are in stock and ready to be shipped to you door! These LME main studs are made from 8740 chromoly steel and have a 190,000 psi tensile-strength rating. They are precision centerless-ground and thread-rolled to Mil-S-8879 specs, with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. The kits come complete with hardened washers and high-strength hex nuts. The LME cylinder head studs Are cold-forged to ensure molecular integrity. They are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 200,000 psi and are made of 8740 material. These kits come with 12-point nuts, and come complete with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings.
