Bosscav Posted May 10, 2017 Report Share Posted May 10, 2017 Hey all!I think I am going to hardwire my Valentine One radar detector to my car over the weekend. I have decided that it would be best to tap into power that is only *on* when the ignition is on (i.e. the engine is running). I think the sunroof controls are the best source of power in that area of the top of the windshield. I was curious if anyone knows or has a wiring diagram for either of the switches that control the sunroof. I would like to tap into the 12v power on the back of the switches but Im not the most electrically inclined. So before I go get the ol' multi-meter out and test which ones are hot or wind up screwing up my sunroof, I'd love to see if anyone has a wiring diagram or has done this same procedure. Let me know!
