Lots of knowledge and great people willing to help will continue to make EBOF grow into the premier EB forum on the net. With that said, I'm no longer a SHO owner. If you know me like my family does, I've been in and out of several different cars the last 7 years or so. I'm headed off in another direction as the new SRT Chargers have really peaked my interest. Don't get me wrong, the Taurus is an amazing car, Ford did it right, no doubt. I have and will continue to recommend the Taurus to anyone. I'll drop in from time to time to say high to the gang. P.S. I actually looked at one and considered it for a brief time (about 10 minutes) even though I am a Ford fanatic. How quick are the Chargers? Well, having just come from a heavily modified '07 Charger R/T myself, I loved that car. Kind of miss it. But the SHO's an entirely different animal. I'd think it'd be unfair to compare the two honestly. But good luck to you, and please do stop back and post up some pics of your new whip.... I myself would love to see what the newest models look like personally. Here's a couple of pics of mine (may she R.I.P. as she died 06/09/09 in a double rollover).... The Charger has a mean look to it, the one I looked at was black with an offset blue stripe. I like the V8 muscle, but it didnt feel as refined which is kinda what you guys said.. SHO is more luxury. Got5onIt Posted August 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 21, 2012 Yes sir, I got the "Hey Look at Me" Detonator Yellow. I picked the Super Bee package because it comes with absolutely nothing: No tech package (Nav, heated cooled seats, cup warmer, power seats, etc.), no leather seats, decent radio, no active suspension control (comes with tuned Bilstein shocks). Its just all power & brakes with a race tuned suspension. It does have paddle shifters, the leather SRT steering wheel, and Xenon headlights. Definitely a stripped down rocket sled. Quite a change from the luxury sports sedan the SHO is... From what I've been reading the Super Bee has been on hiatus since '09. This year's run will be 1000 units with 500 in yellow & 500 in black. I'm not real fond of the funny goggle wearing Bumble Bee on the rear quarter panels, but my son loves it! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They did go on a hiatus in '09 when Daimler Chrysler was trying to figure out it's future, and then there was some degree of restlessness in the SRT department cuz once Fiat entered the picture to execute the take over, even the Charger's mere future was being pondered, yet alone any SRT variants. So thus the reason I asked if they came back.... I kind of lost touch a lil bit after having parted with my Charger, and opting in for the SHO. But yes, beautiful car.... I'd be hard pressed to mod it personally, especially cuz of it's low production #'s. Enjoy and more pics please (when time permits). I never really thought it was appropiate(sic) to put that logo on the Ram trucks. But on the Charger: :thumb: I love the color you got, it's one of my fav's! Good luck with the new car!
