Recharging A/C System

Recommended Posts

Just joined and trying to help a friend out and don't see a search option. On a 2010 Taurus SHO, we dropped the motor to swap a tranny and in doing so, had to drain the a/c system to disconnect hoses. Now when I try to recharge, the compressor kicked on for a second and then that was it. Is there a reset on these things? I've done many vehicles,(gotta admit, mostly older vehicles) I have the proper tools but this is driving me nuts! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
