Yeah thanks guys, well I'm very excited today, I signed the dotted line for a 2012 ford G6E Ecoboost!

I pick it up tomorrow! Spent the last 5 hours stripping all my gear out of the trade in lol

Here is a few pics of my one, I'm very happy!

Reports are 840km from a tank of gas!

well drove the ecoboost home from the dealer today, im very impressed! Super quiet on the motorway, nice boost power when needed and ran 10.1l/100km with city/motorway driving and the odd full boost WOT run.

38 deg C today and the G6E still drove with no lag and plenty of pick up! The thing that gets me is the motor is super quiet and you get to 100kmh so quick or if you are cruising at say 70 and give it a little boot next thing you are over 100kmh and not even notice it!

I have made the right choice getting this car that's for sure and the environment gives me a big hug every time i start it lol

Whats even better is they kept the same airbox as the i6 so my K&N filter fit right in so it can breathe a little easier :) Ill keep u updated the more I drive it.

Welcome to the site! Very nice looking ride you have there, and it's always cool to see something different!

So many Aussie Fords I'd love to have shipped up here, you're lucky! I ran into an Australian couple in Hawaii earlier this year. We had a long conversation about your vehicles down there.

Thank god it was auto I dont think I could have shifted with left hand.

I lived in England for two years. You'd be surprised how quickly your left hand learns the motions. Much like "The Stranger" in action. It might feel a little awkward at first, but after a few shifts, it's like shaking hands with an old friend.
