3ponies
The weather forecast looks good for a few days so I got the super wash today! A clean Black car in January is a very nice thing! How long can I keep it this way??
SHO Rod
I've been wanting to pull my car in the garage and wash it for several days now, the evenings and weekends just fill up too quickly. But you're right, a clean black car in the Midwest in January really stands out (and looks good, by the way!). -Rod

steve142857
Looks very nice! I don't miss my black car yet, but it sure looks beautiful when cleaned! Nice angle too for your picture, it looks sport and agressive, I love it!
3ponies
Put about 1000 miles on it last week with two trips and I don't get tired of driving it. It just wants to go! Thanks for the feedbak folks.
Crash712us
Also having a Tuxedo Black SHO, I know the feeling. Luckily this past saturday was near 60 hear so I able to clean up and get some wax on the car. Sure does sparkle!
Jojomofo21
Good base coat of quality wax every 3-4 months and all you will need to do is wipe her down with a quick detailer. I use a wax called black hole. Made by chemical brothers. Great for dark cars. Sent from my iPhone while I should be working.
Kolk1
Due to this thread, I spent probably 3 hours cleaning my black SHO today. I really need to order some new cleaning gear, my stuff is all getting pretty worn. Glad to see we have a new sponsor I can try out.

Chase@Adams
Man brother! I feel your pain. My garage queen is black. I can't IMAGINE the pain that goes into having a black daily driver, lol. Don't hesitate AT ALL to give me a shout! The MAIN key, is keeping the girl protected (whether it be sealant or wax), after she's been prepped and polished. Once she's PROTECTED well, it's all maintenance from there! I'm here if ya need me buddy!
Echo42987
Man no snow on the ground in IL! My driveway is still just a sheet of ice. With the way our winter has been going, I think you'll be able to keep her good for the next three weeks!

3ponies
It was 18 degrees in Chicago yesterday but clear and no snow on the ground. I took the other Clean Black Car for a run. Gotta love these mild winters. 18 seems like a heat wave today..
SHO Rod
There was still at least one seat left on the bandwagon, so I had to jump on. This weekend I washed the SHO, detailed the wheel wells, and polished and waxed the Permachromes. Since it snowed yesterday here I didn't get any outdoor shots though. Next project is to start building the LED taillights. -Rod
