chad1140 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 I replaced my factory wipers with the size that the parts store recommended (26") and supposedly this is the wong size? This size made the bottom of the blade shake badly. I then went with 24" blades and the bottom of the wiper still shakes very slightly when it is raining, does this happen to anyone else? tss Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 I went with genuine Ford blades myself simply due to the fact that they work well and I knew I would not have issues. I have had issues like yours before, a few times actually, with rerplacment blades and simply decided that for the nominal additional cost (I change them 1x per year) , I would just start buying factory blades. mjhpadi Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 I agree, I have found that the non Ford blades seem to have the mounting point at a different location then the Motorcraft blades, however, 26" is the correct size for the driver's side.
