Paint correction: 1968 Barracuda, 340 Magnum

Recommended Posts

This client contacted me and JUST wanted the outside of his baby dealt with. After discussing budget and goals, we decided to shoot for about a 75%-85% correction, glaze & wax, and a gentle wipedown of the engine bay. The owner of this car has owned it for about 10-11 years, and most of the swirls and damage were caused by his improper wash technique & a bad job with his rubbing compound.

Process was as follows:

Total time spent, 6 hours. Onto the pics!

Car was very clean upon arrival, so these shots will give you a GOOD idea of the condition of the paint all over. Here's a 50/50 shot of the trunk.
