dwmilton
As I found her, on the showroom floor. My salesman had staged her there for my visit. It's Truck Month, and they only had F-150s inside, other than my Fusion. Hard to see, but I like the hidden red touchpad numbers for keyless entry, inside the pillar trim. MFT, and Nav. I *LOVE* the steering wheel controls, and configurable LCDs flanking the speedo. Again, hard to see; another favorite aspect is the red stitching on the seats, armrests, and center console; part of the Appearance Package. Will take more, and *better* photos soon.

Leadfoot
The 2013's are a sweet ride! A way to REALLY cut down on fingerprints on the touchscreen, and make it easier to clean, is a Lexerd screen protector. If you use code: RBLEX you can get 10% off. dwmilton
Leadfoot, Thanks for the tip! Do I just Google search, and order that online, or is there a specific place that offers the disount?
Leadfoot
I ordered mine right from Lexerd (lexerd.com), I don't know if the discount would work through amazon, etc. Here's an earlier link about the protector: http://www.ecoboostownerforums.com/showthread.php?1390-Nav-Screen-Protector-Installed&highlight=Lexerd
mjhpadi
Really nice looking car, sorta looks like the SHO's little brother! Several of us ordered the Lexard screen protectors. They are a bit expensive, but the do a great job of keeping the screen cleaner and really improve the "feel" when using the touch screen. I would say they are really worth the price. One word of caution, if you do purchase one, make sure the screen is completely free of dirt and foreign objects before applying. Somehow, I managed to get one (just one) of our dog's hairs under the screen, so she is immortalized in the car until I replace the screen! Night Hawk
Those Fusions rock, great color too!!
dwmilton
Thank you all for the kind compliments. I've always LOVED Sterling Gray. Are the Lexerd screen protectors replaceable? I mean, like you can remove it and install a new one, without damaging the MFT screen. Dumb question I know, but wanna be safe. Oh. Last night I installed our "SPY" oval and "thin blue line" logos, on the lower left corner of the back window. My significant other has them on her 350Z Roadster, reflecting some work she did long ago, that we can't discuss. ;-) It hit me today, and I thought it funny that a car emulating a budget 007 ride, would have the SPY logo on it. [/quote'] Yes they are replaceable without damaging the MFT screen but as mjhpadi says, make sure that the screen is free of all lint. Use a microfiber to clean the screen, then maybe blow it with a can of air. Start on one side and use a credit card to squeegee out the air bubbles. I had a piece of lint when I first installed it and tried to get it out... mistake! Lexerd sent me a replacement.
tss
I also highly recommend the screen protector by Lexerd. I think Leadfoot might have turned me onto it originally. I love it. It hides a minor imperfection I had on the screen and definitely hides fingerprints better than without it.
dwmilton
Sweet... Will order a Lexerd protector ASAP. Maybe before I go to sleep, even.
dwmilton
Just ordered a Lexerd screen protector for my new Fusion. I can't wait to begin protecting my car, and minimize the ugly fingerprints. Also, thanks for the 10% discount code!
Leadfoot
You'll be amazed, it's invisible and fingerprints wipe off sooo much easier than without it.
dwmilton
Cool. Thanks again Leadfoot! FWIW, I've also ordered an Eclipse SunShade, and set up an appointment for next Friday to have her tinted. All I need now are some black floormats for the rear. I'm eyeballing the stainless doorsill trim plates, but not sure I wanna mess with that yet. Maybe even the illuminated ones....HMMMM, there's a thought.
