racerx78
Does anyone know how to create a compatible playlist for sync using a USB Flash drive?
SonicsSHO
No, but I'm bored and have a spare flash layin around. So I'll figure it out here shortly. My understanding was as long as they were saved in mp3 format, they would play. Standby....
SonicsSHO
Okay pretty simple. Plug the USB in, and copy the songs from wherever they are stored on your computer. You can also put them into their own individual folders inside the USB so that when you tell sync "play artist so and so" it'll pull right to that folder. SonicsSHO
Also, SYNC will give you some stupid warning about non copyrighted music, but don't worry about it, just tell it to start playing and that's really all there is to it! racerx78
Thank you for the fast response. I've gotten that far. I have have a 16GB drive that i can play my music from by artist, track & Genre, But i see under USB drive options is the ability to play playlist. That is what i'm trying to create. I have over 1K songs in just one of my genres and i'd like to be able to break that up with playlists.
Roy222
I used SyncPlaylist. It is very simple to use and the Playlists work with Sync. SyncPlaylist is free from http://www.openviewdesign.com P.S. It also creates an order list of the playlist so it works in other cars without Sync.
