:D

I will be going with a black bumper LED Bar bezel off a non-SHO Taurus, too.

I now have a set of 20" PP wheels w/tires & TPMS with less than 5k for sale. :)

Wow! Those actually look pretty damn sharp! :thumb:

They really go well with the car. Especially the face finish in relation to your Silver Exterior.

Not only that, but with the 22" diameter, they really fill the wheel well opening quite well.

I like the idea of you using the black LED bezels too...... sounds like you're car's really coming along.

Nicely done :hail:

I like them! It's funny how "small" a 22" looks on these cars. Why does everybody selling stock 20's have to be so far away!

Do I spy an A-pillar gauge pod? I haven't seen anybody have one of those yet...did I miss something??

Good eye sir. I made a custom dual pillar gauge pod.

Here's the thread for the pillar:

Very nice! Fills up the wheel well perfectly. How is the ride - offhand I cannot recall anybody having larger than 20s, though I am sure somebody does.

Also, nice license plate!

Thanks! The ride is a little harsher. The new tires definitely have a stiffer feel, which I like. I'll get more pics up using a good camera when I get chance.

Thank you! I will probably do the bezels next week.

What tires did you go with? How much do the tires and wheels weigh (each?)

I went with Goodyear Eagle GT's in 265/35/22. It's a real tight fit up front, but they do clear. As for weight, I didn't even think about weighing them before putting them on.

New 22" tires are 29.3" tall vs. stock 28.7" Stock Michelins weigh 31 lbs. These Goodyears weigh 34 lbs. Stock PP Goodyear F1 Supercar tires weigh 29 lbs' date='[/quote']

Thanks for the weight specs!

I knew the new tires were a little taller but I'm well within 3% of the stock diameter.

You can go beyond 3% either way. (If... they fit.) Only issue is your speedo readings. I am running 7% smaller summer only tires and 18" roto-forged lightweight wheels. My wheels and tires weigh about 100 lbs less than yours. When running a tune, I use SCT tuner or Torrie input to correct speedo error. Running completely stock, I use GPS to know my speed.

Hmmm, now you have me wondering if I should use my SCT tuner to correct to the 2% difference.
