10SECSHO
Anyone with the PP replace the temporary mobility kit with a real spare tire? I wondering what all I would need besides tire and wheel.
Got5onIt
I'm going to look into this as well.
RedCandySHO
I would call around to some wreckers. There is lots of wrecked Taurus's around.
Got5onIt
I was actually leaning towards buying the absolute cheapest wheel I can get my hands on, Mustang 18" bullitt or the 20" Zinik Z31 for $180 from tirerack. Slap a cheapo tire on it, buy a cheap deep socket and wrench, scissor jack, and voila!
10SECSHO
I would like all the factory hardware so I have no rattles.
chad1140
Yeah I would love a spare tire that I could drive on. I have been told a full size will not fit under the carpet though. Will the cheapos mentioned be skinnier?
TonyTheTiger57
I really dislike the fact that I can not put a full size spare in my trunk in the intended location without a problem anymore, this used to be the first modification to my new car. 04avalanche
I would trade my non pp setup for the pp items.
