I have been lurking and reading here since I got the car. A lot of great info here. I never been much of a Ford guy but I was in need of a family car since I just became a father. I wanted something safe, fast, good on gas and AWD. So I got the SHO, I've been impressed by these EB motors since they came out. I wish GM would get on the ball lol. I'm a member on LS1Tech and PerformanceTrucks. I also have a 2002 Z28 with a 408ci and a F1 procharger, and a 2009 Silverado with bolt ons. So you see how I been a Chevy guy for a while. I'm not here to talk crap or anything, my preference is GMs, but this SHO is impressive. I keep telling myself I won't mod it.....let's see how long that lasts. Just wanted to introduce myself....:yo:

Welcome aboard €nd thanks for coming out from behind the shadows and registering here to become part of the EB family :welcome:

You sound like you're in the same boat as a lot of us (family, need of a large sedan, but still wanting the comfort, speed, performance and handling)

The SHO's and other EB variants from FMC seem to fit that bill pretty well.

This is my 2nd, personally owned Ford product (bought a used one from family way back in the day) and i've never been terribly brand loyal, having owner many products from both Domestic & Foreign automakers.

But i'll agree, seems FMC hit the ball out of the park with this one.

I suspect you'll end up head'n down the mod path like most of us have, seems inevitable really. Especially given the performance increases gained in relation to the expenditures.

Anyhow, enjoy all the info posted here thus far, be sure to take advantage of the few Supporting Vendors we do have, and all of the products that they offer.

Pics when time permits!

Mike :yo:

I have the pictures on my phone.. I'll post up when I get on my computer. It's a tuxedo black on black 20in optional wheels. It's a non PP. Only mods are limo tint on back windows and 25% up front, and a escort 9500ix that I'm going to wire directly with their live smart cord and a blend mount. I'll post up once I get a chance.

Hi there and welcome! I'm a mom of two little ones and got the SHO for the space but also the power it punched too. I looked at the SRT's by Dodge and it just didn't work out with the carseats and I refuse to touch a Chrysler. I was a fan of GM's until I dropped close to $60k on a 2011 Enclave... then I realized how cheaply made the car was and how they were cutting corners with things but charging an arm and a leg. Went to Ford for the Explorer... wasn't satisfied and now I am completely in love with my SHO.

Welcome! I had a 2006 Trailblazer SS with some decent modifications. Very glad I had an extended warranty, and got rid of it in 2010. I missed it, and after laughing at the Jeep SRT (nobody is buying them and the dealers have leftover models on the lot yet no discounts) I decided to look into the SHO and haven't looked back. So far I have added an Airaid intake, LMS Tune, 20% Tint and about to order up the H&R Springs. Downpipe will be following. This car is just so much fun and it turns heads and sparks many conversations everywhere I go.

Welcome to the Forum!! Welcome as a new FORD owner as well. I too have owned all differnt makes of cars. I have four vehicle's right now (in part because I have a teen driver). You made me reflect and guess what? All of them are FORD's. 2006 F350 DRW King Ranch (41k), 2006 Escape Hybrid (111K), 2010 Fusion Hybrid (45K), 2013 SHO 1215 miles :RpS_biggrin:. All with no major problems, EVER!! Guess I'm a FORD guy that happens to be a Dale Jr. CHEVY fan!! GO Jr.!!!

Anyway, welcome to the forum. Lots of good 411 here!!
