SHO U UP
How low was your drop front/rear with the Eibachs? Do you have any pics? How is the ride? IIRC, Eibach said 0.8" front and 1.3" rear, but don't quote 100% on that. My front sits at 29" and my rear at 30 1/4" from the fender to the ground. I'll see if I can't add some pics for ya. It rides great and only scrubs the lower rubber valance when I back into my driveway or go over a taller than normal speed bump. Hopefully the H&R springs will get the back down the way I want. Got5onIt
I love the eibach drop. I'm guessing you don't like the rake and want a more even look?
SHO U UP
I love the eibach drop. I'm guessing you don't like the rake and want a more even look? Yes indeed! The back of the car is still towering but nothing like it was stock.
Got5onIt
Yes indeed! The back of the car is still towering but nothing like it was stock. When compared to the stock rake, is it more pronounced with the Eibach kit installed?

FLIP-4-SHO
I live in So Cal. area, OC. I am looking for a good wheel Alignment shop for after Springs are in. Any suggestions
lsdozer
I am wanting springs also, but I am afraid of ruining the snow capabilities. BPD, or anyone else who lives in the snow belt, do you experience reduced snow capabilities when it snows more than five or six inches? Even when it only snows a couple inches, I can feel the built up snow hitting the bottom somewhere, and I dont want to ruin the cars winter capability
bpd1151
Lsdozer..... I can tell you without any hesitation whatsoever, I have had zero negative experiences in the snow with my H&R lowered 2010 SHO. Hell, I worked last year in the blizzard of 2011 here in the Chi-Town area, you know, the one storm where we got like 18" of snow overnight, and hundreds of cars were stranded on Lake Shore Drive? Ummmm yea, that blizzard. Now that one I was a lil worried about. But I sailed right through the snow covered, unplowed streets w/o any issues whatsoever! The SHO performed flawlessly! :thumb: ***This post sent from my DROID3 using the 'Tapatalk' App***
SHO U UP
To be the perfect look, IMO, Eibach's front and H&R in the rear. I just installed my front H&R's at home on Tuesday and it dropped a complete inch on the front over the Eibach kit. I know it may settle a little more as well, so it now has the front end rake again. lol! It looks awesome, but now I need wheel spacers BAD!! I'm on that as we speak. Trying to get the right ones the first time.

FLIP-4-SHO
Ok, finally Installed My springs. Tape measured ground to bottom edge of fender passing thru center of wheel. Front passenger side before: 29.750 Front passenger side after: 28.500 Front drivers side before: 29.875 Front drivers side after: 28.750 -------- Rear passenger side before: 31.000 Rear passenger side after: 29.250 Rear drivers side before: 31.250 Rear drivers side after: 29.250 So ruffly 1.1875 in the front drop 1.875 in the rear drop. Some settling should take place. Ride seems to be very much the same. Time will tell later cuz I really haven't taken it out a lot yet. Report back later though. Now time for alignment. May goto dealer for that.:biggrin1:
FLIP-4-SHO
Well, still have to get aligned. But have had enough time driving it to say, I like the ride. Not as smooth as it was, definitely stiffer and I feel alot more bumps then before. No bottoming out at all. I like the stance it has, looks a little to low in front for sure. Rear is perfect. I installed the rear first and then went and drove it around for a bit with the stock ones still in the front. It was a good ride feel. So, I believe that the front springs are maybe a bit too stiff for my liking. Going to wait to see if I can get use to them. The Eibach's for the front maybe an option. Am waiting to see some pics of that setup from others and comments of the ride. Are Eibach's a little weaker, not as stiff of a ride? Just some thoughts. gregoire
I agree, driving to and from work the ride, while not unpleasant is just a tad stiffer than I would prefer, however during my trip to Ohio and back over the holidays, I thought the ride at higher interstate speeds on smoother surfaces was not objectionable at all and in fact thought the car handled superbly. FLIP-4-SHO
Yes. It is definitely a trade off. It handles better, cornering and more sure footed. It's too bad you cannot buy just back springs or fronts. It may get to be where everyone starts buying both just to get the Eibach in the front and H&R's in the back. LOL! Who knows......... FLIP-4-SHO
Alignment done finally. With no Camber Bolts. They say computer for 2011 sho SB -1.8° -.3° Rear left before -2.5 now -1.5 Rear right before -2.5 now -1.8 They say computer for 2011 sho SB -1.2° -.4° Front left before -.6 now -1.5 Front right before -1.0 now -1.1 Wanted better but good for now, until I let settle more and get other tires. Not real happy with the GoodYear F1 Supercar's At least these will not wear to funny now and I'll probably get good life out of them.
