Paulford8
Just saw Ford Racing is going to have the 3.5 and 2.0 Ecoboost engines as swap motors. I remember reading they were developing a control pack for them. Will be very interesting to see who jumps on this. Here is a link I followed for new stuff in 2013. There is an Ecoboost tab which just shows the engines although I assume the control packs will be out as well. http://fordracingparts.com/PRI/Default.asp EkbergJen
racerx78
Looks like the 3.5EB crate motor is the beefier f150 version of our engine. It could be fun seeing what cars people put that in.
Bigjht
Wow, the MSRP on it is only $1000 less than the 2009 supercharged 5.4 Cobra Motor. I know retails will be different but I expected it to be less.
steve142857
I would think a Fusion AWD would be a good fit for a 3.5 Ecoboost engine. It is AWD, lighter than the SHO and it looks good...
Paulford8
Where did you see an MSRP for the 3.5? The Coyote is 8K but you can pick it up for 5.7-6K pretty easy. I think the big thing here will be the control pack. There are already junk yard motors showing up for 3K ish, but how do you make it run? The FRPP control pack makes it easy. My Coyote swap was no piece of cake but the hook up and getting running park was easy with their harness and ECU.

Paulford8
Interesting. It comes with alt and drive but no controller for 14K.... Hopefully that is just a place holder price as it looks like that page is still under construction.
steve142857
So' date=' Is the 2.0EB AWD version of the Fusion Turbo'd?[/quote'] Yes, otherwise they had a 3.5 or 3.7L V6 AWD in the Sport version... but that was until last year, I don't think they have a Sport version yet in 2013.
