Flak
It no longer powers on, the sct software doesn't notice it and it's discovered as an unknown usb device now. If I try to force install the SCT USB drivers every pc bsod's almost instantly. Anyone have any ideas?
mhenne4
Are you using windows 7? It wasnt until I used a vista pc to update my SCT device to the current version that everything worked. I know for a fact that windows 7 isnt liked by SCT Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
RedCandySHO
If you plug it into the car does it power on? My old laptop USB didn't have enough power from the USB to power up my SCT device.
Flak
It worked fine until I did this last update from SCT. It sat at flash bootloader in the SCT software for 30mins or so, then the X3 did what looked like a reboot and never came back. The screen turns on but never displays anything, I get the same result when plugging it into the car. I emailed SCT on wednesday, haven't heard from them yet. RedCandySHO
They are closed for the holidays until Monday. They will be able to get it back up and running. I would call them though (while in front of your computer). Nothing they are going to be able to do via email.
swetrid
The latest firmware update is buggy to say the least. Alot of the Mustang guys are having problems too. There customer service is pretty good and will get you going again.
