gipraw
For those of you looking for a simple, cheap boost gauge solution, this is what I was running. I bought a Scangauge II ultra compact from Amazon for $149, and a Blendmount Kit for the Scangauge II $48 http://store.blendmount.com/scangaugeii-c109.aspx to mount it above my rear view mirror. I was pleased with this result, and it also allows me to monitor IAT and water temp. Blend Mount also sells the Scangauge, but I bought it from amazon for the free shipping. I ran the cable up the a pillar, and then under the headliner. Took about 15 minutes to install. You can also see my blend mount for the Escort hanging down below the mirror. EcoBrick Bob
Are you plugged into the OBDII port?
gipraw
Are you plugged into the OBDII port? yes sir. the only thing I couldn't find that I wanted was fuel pressure and oil temp. could never find the right programmable PID for those two parameters. EcoBrick Bob
Fuel pressure in our vehicles is as high as 2,200 PSI due to DI pump. You can log it with SCT LiveLink software, but really is meaningless to attempt to view it as it can be quite low in normal driving situations. In WOT situations, you wouldn't be able to watch it, drive, and then attempt to respond (get out of the throttle) fast enough. I have a DashHawk that I mount with velcro on the dash lip in Flex, in front of the Tach. That way I can actually watch it when I'm driving, and when I floor it. Great out of the way location though! fishrising
Where did you find a listing of PIDs? I have a gauge but the built in scannable list is short. It will allow me to type in PIDs.

The Scanguage site has a list of x-gauge settings for for to let you program the setting you want to capture. http://www.scangauge.com/support/x-gauge/ford-specific-xgauges/

I didn't realize it was that high. In that case, it was probably working, and I just thought the data was bad.
qwiksilvertrav
That's sweet! Definitely easy to install and no having to fab up anything. Still looks plenty clean too imo. I have a scan gauge in my SRT and love it. I assume this datalog and everything too? Also does it display boost in psi for us Americans? lol
gipraw
It does display boost in PSI .. I am not sure on the data logging. I never used it for that.
