foster6a
I've noticed a clunk in both driver and passenger side when going over bumps (it's much more noticeable while turning). I brough my car into the dealership, and they said my passenger side tie rods and ball joint needs to be replaced. They're asking $900 for labour and parts. I think this seems high! Any thoughts???? Otto Man
I bet it is a bad steering rack. My 2013 SHO was bad at 7000 miles.
foster6a
It was actually the strut mounts. I think they may have been damaged in a previous accident about 5 months ago.
joebonjoey
I had a similar problem with my 2009 MKS as you described. It only happened going over bumps but not while turning. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the sway bar links and the clunking noise went away.
