Boosted10
Just picked my car up from getting an oil change and the tires rotated and balanced. The service manager broke the news that 2 of my wheels are bent on my 10 MKS. The car didn't have any vibration before it was serviced and now it is noticeable at speeds over 55. I don't understand if they where bent why I couldn't feel it before the visit to the dealer.
Wild13EcoBoost
That sucks. Did you get the tire/wheel warranty? If the bent wheels were on the rear than you probably wouldn't notice them as much or if they tried to balance them it could have made it worse. Boosted10
I bought the car last December, so I'm not sure on the waranty. They moved them both to the rear and it made things worse. It does suck at $1400 per wheel. Hopefully there is someone in KC that is reasonable and can fix them
Boosted10
I tried putting them both back to the right side before I left for work and still noticeable vibration. When I pulled the wheel I looked it over but couldn't see any visible damage.
Boosted10
Pulled every wheel and looked them over and only one showed a slight bend on the inside. Made sure it was on the back and that all the wheels where centered. Torqued them at 40, 80 and 100 lbs then went for a test drive. It is rolling a lot smother now
