xujn
I have plasti dipped my window trim countless times already, and have never been satisfied with the outcome. Does anyone know how I can take the trim off so that I can paint them instead? RudyFloum
geswek
Photos? I want to see an all black with black trim LOL.
navytrev
I am interested in this also. Debating on getting them painted in gloss black or the same color as the car. Along with the chrome piece on the trunk that runs between the two lights.
icecam
Probably the same way you would debadge it.
Getch78
I agree with you regarding plasti dipping trim. On my last car I wrapped the trim with 3M vinyl. It's another inexpensive and noninvasive approach to cover up the chrome. Just a thought.
xujn
Hmmm, I messed around with the trim and it seems like the trim around the c pillar is more likely than not glued on, but the rest seem to have bolts to keep them in place. Darkside
It will most likely bend if you try pulling it off. I don't think they are meant to be removed and reused. I had mine painted while on the car along with the rest of the chrome. Thread with pics over on the performance site.
