pacoflyer
I am wondering if these "subs" will fit. I have a 2010 Sony system, and am looking for more bass but I do not want a box and $1000 stealth sub is too much. Has anybody taken a look at the factory 6x9 on the rear deck? I have not added anything to my system as of yet, so still stock. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CL-69SUB-CF-CDT-AUDIO-6-x-9-CARBON-FIBER-SUBWOOFER-SPEAKER-w-GRILLS-CL-69SUB-/120841509148?_trksid=p3284.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D21%26pmod%3D110797394004%26ps%3D54
wildosvt
Stock subs are 2.3 ohms if I recall correctly, With a 24 watt rms rating. I have taken mine out due ot a sub box being installed, I did not want to harm the stockers with the added pressure. So yes the CDT will fit, But would have less output than stock on the stock amp. Your really need to check this topic out. http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=118874&highlight=subwoofer
pacoflyer
Thanks, since the cdt's are 180 RMS I guess a 400 watt amp would be sufficient. Looks like a large tear down, was that a difficult job?
