10SECSHO
Did a tire rotation about month ago and yesterday got the low tire pressure warning light. Checked all tires and one was 25 psi. Put air in it and brought all 4 up to 32 psi. Do I need reset tool for the tpms sensors? Have not driven the car since the light came on. Will reset itself or do I buy a reset tool or let ford do it?

SHO Rod
You shouldn't need to go anywhere close to 10 miles, unless you drive really slowly. Mine update after only a couple blocks. According to the factory service manual, "The SJB monitors the air pressure in the 4 road tires with tire pressure sensors. The sensors transmit radio frequency signals to the SJB approximately every 60 seconds when the vehicle speed exceeds 32 km/h (20 mph)." -Rod
swetrid
It should go out once you reach 20 mph or so and it sat for awhile it will go out on startup when the sensors wake up.

nameneeded
Just out of curiosity... are the sensors in the hubs (rotation style), in the valve stems or in the rims. I'm going to need some winter rims and need to know is I will need TPS as well. Thx!
