jerry in pitt pa
I posted a picture of the 2013 taurus manual page 364 in my album. Says that 2.0 & 3.5 ecoboost oil should meet ford spec wss-m2c946-a. I did a quick search and MC 5W30 full syn, Mobil1 5w30, Castrol Edge 5w30, Pennzoil Platinum meet this. So which is the best pick? I always use a MC filter in a ford since it has a anti drain valve, keeps oil in the motor for starting. Jerry
TractorAK
I run and have run in all my cars Mobil 1. I bought my WRX With 35k on it and promptly put in Mobil one. I have modified the heck out of it and ran it hard for the 100k I put on it. I am still running the original turbo and I don't have any smoke. mjhpadi
Jerry, almost all the high performance filters have the anti-drain back valve. I know that Mobil One, K&N, and Royal Purple oil filters have them. Also Purolator oil filters have them.
