TractorAK
So within the last couple of months we finally got an all wheel dyno in Alaska. I was in the area so I stopped in to see what it would cost to get a numbers run and when they would have an opening. Well 30 minutes and 150$ and I had some numbers. We weren't sure what gear to run in so first pull was 4th and second was 3rd. We were starting to get some heat soak by the second pull. On a side note where is the inter cooler on this car? I am running a K&N panel filter and running the 90 map. The dyno is a mustang. Seemed low compared to other posts.
Crash712us
The intercooler is sandwiched between radiator and condenser. Its virtually the same size as the radiator.
TractorAK
Thanks I thought it was in that area but I wasn't sure.
TractorAK
Does anyone know what gear Livernois does its pull in? Seth at P3 got a little nervousness with the fourth gear pull pushing 120mph.
jdeprato
The PP gear ratio is different than the non-PP so that could make a difference in what gear they do the pulls in...
HighBarSHO
So 316/342 on Mustang? Those are usually lower reading dyno's by 10-15% compared to DynoJets. So DJ numbers would be more like 347/376 figuring plus 10%. I would say that's about right.
jdeprato
Yeah the 4th gear pull numbers look correct to me as well.
Timeless
Whatever gear is a 1:1 ratio as long as it does not hit the speed/rev limiter. In a six speed like ours it is probably 5th gear.
