2011 SHO Driver
Just purchased a 2011 SHO , tuxedo black, black / black inlay interior, 402A PP. I am reading that with the PP, there are several upgrades over the normal SHO, one being upgraded brakes....can anyone tell me the differences, bigger calipers and pads, extra piston ??? thanks for the information. MNRubyRed2013
The calipers on the 2010-2012 SHO's are the same on both the PP and non-PP cars. Only difference is the PP cars have upgraded brake pads. Brakes didn't actually get updated until the 2013 cars.
mjhpadi
Not so much added stuff, the upgraded brake pads, different struts, no spare, and Goodyear tires....oh and you couldn't get the ACC with the PP because of the trans cooler. Crash712us
Tires,Brake pads, struts, differential gear 3.16 vs 2.
mjhpadi
Oops forgot the gearing difference....
2011 SHO Driver
Thanks guys......the gearing will definately make a difference off the line. Although it would have been nice to get a larger caliper as part of the PP, that would have only caused the replacement pads to cost 10x's what the normal pad would have cost....so i will live with it. Love the car so far.
tjtheman007
AND the PP has the ability to fully turn off traction control, where the Non-PP only reduces it.
jdeprato
When I was changing the springs on my 2011 PP I noticed a sticker on my springs that said PP so I just figured the upgrade was the springs but instead its the struts?
