donky4444
I just sold my 2008 Grand Prix GXP and local dealership has bought me a 2011 Pearl White SHO, 402A, 20" wheels and contoured seats with 34,000 miles on it. I can't wait to pick it up this week. I will post some pics once I have it. I plan on doing the LMS tune right away and maybe an intake and exhaust down the road. It will need tires by the time winter hits and I am thinking of going with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport AS in 255/45/20 for a good year round tire. Not sure of other mods but I am sure some will come. This is the first time in 12 years I haven't had a GM in my garage, the wife has a 2008 Lincoln MKX FWD and loves it. donky4444
TSS I think we have talked on the MKS forum a few months ago. I was looking for an MKS with the AP but couldn't find what I wanted for the right price so I switched to the SHO.
donky4444
I picked up the car today. It's in really good shape and the factory warranty run until April or 36,000. It has 34,400 on it now so I'm sure I will hit the miles first. Looks like the taillights need to be replaced under warranty due to the chrome peeling and the cup holder to the right of the shifter needs a new door. New tires will be needed by winter. I'm thinking of going with the Michelin pilot super sport a/s in 255/45/20 before the snow flies. I will be ordering my LMS tuner this weekend. Can't wait!!!!! SHOdded
Very very nice. That paint really glows Did you pickup the extended warranty already? Much cheaper to get if off the net if you haven't already.
donky4444
My old roommate is the GM of the dealership so I get it for $100 over dealer cost. For the deal he gives me on the car and warranty I just buy it from him. He's got to make some money.

mjhpadi
I've been considering these tires, I'm not a Michelin fan, and I just contacted them about sidewall cracking and they again basically blew me off! I am not sure that anyone has had them on a SHO but they are made by Bridgestone (who owns Firestone) and I've had great luck with Bridgestone tires in the past. At least check them out. http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/firestone/fs_fhwo_as_w_ci2_l.jpg
donky4444
I ran Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position on my last car. They were strictly summer tires but they were great. I have had lots of Firestone and Bridgestone tires over the years and have never had any complaints.
