PDXSHO
Are power folding mirrors a option on the SHO? I did a web search, and found a 2012 with power folding mirrors listed, misprint?
EcoBrick Bob
Sorta... They are Power Fold if you hit the side of the garage while driving in.
PDXSHO
LOL, OK Thanks.
tss
Well, they are power mirrors, and they do manually fold. Thus, power ~ folding mirrors. Maybe that is what they meant. Lol.

EcoBrick Bob
While I think it's pretty funny... my Florida neighbors with the 2 small doors on their garages, don't think so when the side(s) of their cars are scraped up too! Mirrors are the minor part of the fix......Bet that half of the ladies (and a few gents) have baptized their vehicles that way.
mjhpadi
My Lincoln Mark LT had power folding mirrors, and my 98 F-150 had a power folding mirror on the passenger side when the power of the pine tree grabbed it while backing and powered it backwards until it crunched! EcoBrick Bob
And.. there was the time in 2001, I backed my new Volvo Conv. into the side of my Caddy STS. It was my 6'5" son's fault as he was sitting in back blocking my view... HAVEN"T done that again...
tss
Had them on my 07 escalade and loved them. Even last generation DTS had them. Would have been more important to me than, say the rear sunshade or colorful interior lighting options.
kuruption
My '10 Expedition had power folding, and I used them often, but now that I'm driving the SHO that seems to be about 10' narrower, I'm not really concerned.
tss
For me, I just like having them folded in my garage so my garage so nobody (ie. my 12 year old's friends) accidentally hit one as they walk by. Not a real big issue, but it would be nice. Definitely needed more, for the same reason, with my full size SUVs that had them (Tahoe/Escalade). I used them all the time with those vehicles. While I am moaning about nearly insignificant things, I also with my MKS has signals in the mirrors, either on the outside like MB/BMW or on the mirror glass, like Cadillac/GM. Our cars are freakin' huge, an extra side marker light wouldn't hurt.

[/quote'] Yeah, same thing when I changed from the Lincoln to the SHO...everyone seemed to think the SHO was big and heavy...seemed small and nimble to me after a Supercrew 4WD truck!
