Guest 4DRHTRD Posted August 11, 2012 Report Share Posted August 11, 2012 It was HOT HOT HOT out at the track, over 100 when I tech'd at 9:30 PM last night. Ran an initial 14.08 then ran some hot laps at 14.15 to .18. I saw a Jeep SRT-8 running some passes so I asked him if he wanted to race. He was quite surprised as he hadn't seen me run earlier. I can't wait for it to cool off, I also badly want to do exhaust and alky injection, we'll see if I can do that over the next 90 days or so. I am also running a custom CAI, made from a RotoFab J-Tube & 4" round oiled filter. Engine & IAT Temps seems to run coole with it, than with AirAid CAI. No track or dyno testing to verify, however. Two of my 12 second runs were in sunny FL with Temps in the mid-70's. Was running Nitto DR's on the front at the time. That's where I beat the 2012 GS Vette..
