pacoflyer
Is there any vendor going to start developing coil overs? I've been told just lowering the car on stock shocks is not the greatest and a different shock maybe a shorter one matched up would be a better case. Some input on this would be helpful. But my question is there any vendors working on coil overs and stiffer sway bars than even the PP ones? Ford is overpriced...I would rather wait to lower it if the possibility of coil overs were being looked at.
mjhpadi
From what has been posted here, our guys that have lowered their cars with new springs, have had no issues what so ever with the shocks, so I don't think you will be seeing any coil overs for our cars. Hopefully some of the guys that changed springs can pitch in with their experience, as I don't recall anyone having any negatives to say about the change. EcoBrick Bob
I have H & R's, air bags in rear springs, Extra Load Max Performance tires on my Flex. It rides firmer than my G8 with stock suspension, but not much. It drives like a dream an corners like a very sporty sedan. It is also more predictable under power than my 2 G8's which can switch to oversteer with too much throtte.
pacoflyer
Thanks, I guess springs will be fine then. I might just do the rear to get an even look I don't understand why ford raked an AWD car...
