Sudoku Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 Anybody has developed rust on their door latches? Mine is a 2010, paint is flaking, cracking and is starting to rust. Driver's side is ok, as a 2010 car should be!!! :RpS_bored: I noticed little rust spots also on that same door's hinges. Mine is white so it really stands out. Anybody? mjhpadi Posted September 17, 2012 Report Share Posted September 17, 2012 I don't think this is too unusual, since it is metal to metal contact, if you clean it off and then coat both the latch and the catch with a little white lithium grease it should slow or stop the rust and paint wear problem.
