Love those rims. What were the rim width sizes and offsets. Beautiful car..........
jdeprato
Yeah those rims look nice. Normally I would say woah 22" rims, that's just too much, but honestly they look good on our car.

closcer
Sorry, started off not being able to resize the pictures Yeah I actually tried out 24's first and that IMO would have looked ridiculous (ill try to dig up pictures lol). I tried 20's and 22's and went with the 22's after some serious consideration. The car rides great, I've done some performance upgrades but I'm really after the clean, refined look. I have a 32 mile drive into work 3 days a week and there is absolutely no way you can get any sort of drag racing going on, not in this part of Georgia. I am really enjoying the power it has and how well it rides. Im ashamed to say this is my first performance/boutique american car, I owned a BMW M3 and just sold a 2006 Benz C55. They all had their outstanding qualities, but I must say this is my all around favorite car, so balanced, and so comfortable. I have it tinted as much as legally possible with Llumar tint. It has Toyo Proxes 255/35 and 285/30 in the rear fitted with Lexani R-Five's, Im pretty sure they are 9 in front and 9.5 in the rear. I am unsure about the offset, my wheel and tire guy has done all my cars and I pretty much drop it off at the shop, he takes care of the rest. He sends me pictures with different wheels, how they look on, and I make my choice while I'm at work then go pick it up. I went with the H&R springs over the Eibachs because I didn't feel the Eibachs had enough of an aggressive stance, the stock stance was pretty 4x4 IMO, I did lose a good deal of ride quality but realistically I wanted to feel like I was in a performance car and not an Oldsmobile (nothing agains Olds but I felt detached from the road). I plastidip'd the front grill, tinted the rear taillights, and the rear chrome bar. I installed the Airaid intake as well and would do the ECU tune but I'm not ready to lose my warranty for a tune, I'll have to wait till its done with. I tried the Borla, Corsa and they didnt do it for me. I have a guy I know that does race car exhausts exclusively and he fabbed the exhaust for me and did the X-pipe plus installed Magnaflow mufflers. I got a real HKS SSQV BOV from a local tuner, afraid Ebay had knock offs. Im not even sure if there is a difference but wanted to play it safe. Thanks for helping me post for the first time, I'll also try to find a clip of the exhaust and the 24's up close to the car for comparison. closcer
Here are the 24's, if I would have went with them and had them "make it work" I would have had to sit up high, not my cup of tea...
FLIP-4-SHO
Very nice write up Closcer. Width and offset are very important to us here. If you could contact them or look at any paperwork you may have would be appreciated and tell us the details. The places I can go ask what I need and that is what I get so being sure is a good thing. Good you have a guy to handle it all. He did a good job. By the tires you have listed and how they look on the rims I would have sworn they were 9 in front and 10 in back. maybe even 10.5 but I thought probably not. Offsets are a different story. I am still unclear on those. So H&R's? no rubbing? even with adults in the back as you have it setup? If so boy that is perfect. Again! Nice car and it looks great. closcer
Here is a clip of the custom exhaust. It's almost too loud in the cabin, I'm still undecided... SHOdded
SHOdded
May be too loud, but boy, does it sound good! With the 24" rims, you'd have no space for pneumatic tires. Maybe tank treads?
FoMoCoSho
Here is a clip of the custom exhaust. It's almost too loud in the cabin, I'm still undecided...That's the best sounding setup outside of the car I've heard. That sucks if it's intolerable on the inside. jdeprato
I wonder if you were to put a resonator in there up stream and go with the catted downpipes. I think that could strike the right balance.
