Dmorr1
Is there any issue running the SHO on regular? Dealer says it is fine on reg. thanks
Kolk1
Id assume its like all the previous models, where regular gas just drops down the output of the engine by around 10hp or so.
mjhpadi
You can run on regular but as Kolk says you will lose horsepower and performance. The car runs better and performs best on premium...I also think it likes 93 octane a little better then 91.
jayskycj
Yes the engine is designed to run on regular just fine. I used it for a couple weeks prior to tuning and had no issues. Noticed some drop in power but not much. Fortunately there are more than one gas station near me in which 93 is only 20 cents more per gallon. MNRubyRed2013
I've noticed a small drop in power when I ran regular in my 2013, but I also noticed a drop in gas mileage.
