Steebles
Hey guys, I'm currently running a '13 non-pp SHO, Livernois v10 93 3Bar, plugs, and T-stat. I'm ready to pull the trigger on exhaust modifications, but likely will have to do them in stages. Luckily, Stainless Works is about 15 minutes from my house, but my questions are: - Will non-catted downpipes on a stock exhaust system have a big impact once tuned appropriately? (Essentially, should I do downpipes first, then exhaust? What's the best bang for the buck?) - Does anyone have any experience with E-Check on a system running offroad pipes? - CAI after the exhaust? bamsho
Non catted will work, but I would stick with catted. I know they cost a little more, but some have had issues with turbo seals going out cause of less back pressure.
mjhpadi
I agree with Brian, I would go with the catted downpipes, less change for code problems and if you have any state inspection, the non catted pipes may prove to be a problem in the future. LostnEye
I would get catted and with that only PPE as they are the only ones so far that seem to consistently not throw a code on a stock tune.
