Liscense plate mount modification

Recommended Posts

I didn't want to spoil my beautiful front bumper with screw holes and yellow plate so after one trooper warning and the fear of tickets parking downtown I built my own bracket. It may be a little low but I will soon know as winter is coming. Cheap and would be easy to raise with some grinding and welding.

Actually, that's a neat little installation and mod. I really like the fact that the license plate is low enough that you will hear it scrap before anything on the car so you have warning to go very slow if you hear the license plate scrap...it is expendable, much more then the car!

I hadn't thought of that. I haven't had a problem yet as I usually back in or park like a foot out if I pull in forward. It makes me feel better now though to think about when my drives drives it. Maybe she'll stop... Maybe.
