Scrming
We need a forum specific to this vehicle I picked one up last night and its a riot to drive. VERY COOL! Looking forward to seeing more!
SpoolinX2
I've been paying attention to these things for a while, and it'd probably be the only around right now I'd consider giving the SHO up for...but it's not that tempting yet. And for being under $30k, it's a great value.
Administrator
I will be adding a forum for this shortly. The only thing I see wrong with this car is the fact a nicely equipped one is around $29,000. The new Fusion is also coming with ecoboost AND AWD. I wonder where it will be priced at? tmcphail
A-plan makes it cheap. Calibration details to come shortly. The fusion I considered but the weight is quite a bit higher especially in AWD. The ST was the lightest car of them all with this powertrain. Scrming
Also... will the ST-R parts show up in the Ford Racing Parts catalog? I thought I heard something to that effect... just like the Cobra Jet parts...
tmcphail
That would make sense for FRPP to make that available.
tmcphail
I had it over in Sanford at SCT Wednesday for use in a video and development.

h1h0silver
As for the car itself: What are the pros/cons? Actual mpg? Any 'street beats' at red lights? How is the torque vector and traction control? Does it have the active grill shutters? Does the active sound symposer make you grin? The list could go on...but for now (please): Stock hp/tq? Stock hp/tq with overboost?
tmcphail
Will outline all data once compiled.
tmcphail
Update! Vehicle is still in development: 1. Flashing works 2. Software works 3. Firmware and software will work back and forth with calibrations to test stability, find parameters and ensure flashing is solid, then it will go to QA to test. Will have more information as tests are passed. Completion should be within 2 weeks.
SpoolinX2
So my local Ford dealership has an ST in stock now, in Tangerine Scream, priced at $25,800. That's incredible value.

steve142857
Surely is... I love it and at 25k, sounds like a good value. If only it had AWD... With all that power and FWD, it will probably be like mazdaspeed3, very hard to launch on day to day driving... Please let us know your feedback if you drive it... I would also recommend to try it on a sunny day And on a rainy day...
Crash712us
There was one at the strip the other day I didn't see its time. But my buddy thought it ran a very low 14 or high
SpoolinX2
My thoughts exactly. I do love the ST and am pondering taking one for a drive, but fighting the urge at the risk of liking it. I'm still very interested in the future Fusion ST coming. Supposedly AWD and Ecoboost as well...if they put a 6 speed in it, with those looks, I'm sold!
tmcphail
Stock run data below 87 Octane. Note how Engine coolant temperature plays a massive role in end power output once you get to real world temperatures. Also note that Cat over temp is also to blame for the upper RPM power reduction. Runfile 012 @ 145 degrees ECT Runfile 013 @ 185 degrees ECT Runfile 014 @ 196 degrees ECT As temperatures increase COT kicks in and timing decreases.
