Livernois Motorsports
All of our tunes have been developed in-house on our AWD chassis dyno or the track and proven on the street using our Taurus SHO and EcoBoost Flex shop vehicles. To my knowledge, we’ve tuned more EcoBoost vehicles than anyone in the country (over 250) and have had zero failures. We also claim the world's quickest Gen IV SHO, a customer's vehicle which runs 12.13 @ 117 mph. Our SHO with only our custom tune and Corsa exhaust has been a best of 12.69 @ 107 mph and our Flex with only our custom tune has been a best of 13.3 @ 103 mph. The SCT device and our custom tunes can be ordered here If you already have an SCT device, you can order our custom tunes here The tuner is sent blank. Once you receive the tuner, you will email us your strategy code, serial number from your SCT device, mods (if any) and what octane fuel you run. Here is a video of our car and some customer cars at the track. and another of our SHO on the AWD dyno Available in 4 stages. All stages included with purchase. Modifciations Include: Raised Boost Dyno Proven Air/Fuel Adjustments Altered Ignition Timing Removed Top Speed Limiter Torque Management Reduced or Removed Modified Shift Points/Firmness Available for 91 or 93 Octane Fuel Thank you Regards, Rick LeBlanc Livernois Motorsports

Livernois Motorsports
in order to get the tune do you need to have the car on the dyno? Thank you for your interest! These cars have a wideband and no MAF, so there is no need to have the car on the dyno with most of the bolt-on's available as of now (CAI, exhaust, t-stat, radiator). We do however offer a methanol injection system and do suggest a dyno tune with this modification. The SCT device and our custom tunes can be ordered here Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Rick
EcoBrick Bob
Installed the 4+ immediately this afternoon... Faster than re-programming TPMS an a lot less complicated! Took it out for a test run... When I turned T/C off... got lots of scratch!!! Strong runner!!!!! Can't wait to check it out at the Bradenton strip in JAN. mjhpadi
I'm running the Stage 4+ on a daily basis and using 93 octane fuel, and have been for about 6 months now. I have experienced no problems but a lot of fun improved performance. I really, really recommend these tunes!

MelC
We do however offer a methanol injection system and do suggest a dyno tune with this modification. Glad to have an EcoBoost specific forum!! Running Livernois stage 3 tune (limited to 91 octane here in SoCal). I absolutely love it, love it, love it!! I can't stop driving my car (just ask my wife and kids). I've been contemplating on a meth system as soon as funds are available. Does this mean I'm not able to install your system since dyno tuning is out of the question for me due to my distance from LMS?

As far as "can't stop driving!" Well... I think I might have most people beat.... Our Flex is 4 months old and it has 15,2xx miles on it!!! Seriously considering the meth kit too... very tempting ot give EBB a run for his money! Lucky for me LMS is only about 2 hours away (depending on traffic, right RIck? Does this mean I'm not able to install your system since dyno tuning is out of the question for me due to my distance from LMS?[/quote'] There are many suppliers of W/M kits out there. The problem is that you need to have your car Dyno Tuned for the W/M system, or you need a tuner who can do it off of LiveLink logs that you send to him. Our newest sponsor, Torrie @ Unleashed Tuning & Fast Parts Network has done that for me during the last year. He sells a W/M system that is easy to install, and has worked well for me. It is good for .4 - .5 gains in ET under comparable conditions. I have gone further and added a 3 Bar MAPv sensor, replacing the 2 Bar one at the top of the Aluminum Intake, but it certainly isn't necessary. While this tuning process takes a bit of back and forth, it is "real world" tuning, vs the controlled inside environment of a fixed awd dyno. If I recall, Unleashed has a single stage system and LMS has the 2 stage system. In previous PMs with you, you pointed out the simplicity and some advantages of the single stage system. Thanks, Mel
EcoBrick Bob
You need to ask Rick if they are willing to mod their tunes for W/M. Torrie himself does all the tuning and works off LiveLink logs of your WOT runs. This means either running at the strip, or going to a local road and doing a WOT run thru the first 2 gears, while logging the data (up to 18 parameters out of 100+). You send the log to Torrie and he sends you back an updated tune file. This continues until your performance is safely maxed. Torrie likely can say this better than me.... While Torrie's basic W/M system includes tuning, I would guess he would be willing (for a $$ price) to tune any 2 stage system, if you think that's necessary. Just guessing, but I assume those 2 stage systems require more tuning time, which can be completed much quicker on a dyno. There are positives for both systems. Some articles I have read feel a simpler system which is basically ON at a set boost level, works just as well as more complex systems. Others swear by the systems with boost controllers which add spray as the boost increases. Since I am at a high enough boost, almost immediately, my system is spraying at full pressure thru the entire WOT run. What I have noticed is that my temps drop until about 1/2 way thru run, and then slowly rise, but remain below the starting MCT. This means I should likely increase the size of my spray nozzle, and possibly increase my methanol %. Doing so, may allow Torrie to adjust boost levels lower, or if it stays the same, my power should increase. Sooo... many variables.... Thats why I tend to think that simpler is better, at least for a NEWBY W/M guy like me. At the strip, I make it a point to observe... There are guys who are tuning their vehicles in the lanes... Way beyond me!! I recommend that anyone looking for increased performance thru W/M read the various articles I posted elsewhere on this forum, and perhaps look for others. And... if you find some really good ones, add them to the list I started.
